How do I recycle / dispose of my Saalt Steamer at the end of its life?Updated a year ago
The Saalt Steamer has been tested for scores of steam cycles; we hope you won't be needing to recycle your steamer anytime soon.
However, at the end of your Saalt Steamer's life, we recommend searching locally for "small electronic recycling" near you. Many cities, large and small, offer this service, only not curbside. You might have to take your steamer to a drop-off facility.
Most communities will only accept and manage waste from their own residents. Computer equipment, peripherals, printers, and small personal electronics including phones, tablets and GPS can often be dropped off for recycling at solid waste districts or locations.
Other electronics can be recycled through local e-waste companies and at retail locations. Within the U.S. companies like Best Buy and Staples allow customers to drop-off items in-store for free. If in doubt, call your local facility to double-check. We hope this helps, and thank you for considering your carbon footprint. Saalt is a B-Corp; we are committed to engaging in responsible business practices, and supply chain. We appreciate your assistance in helping us responsibly maintain the end life of your steamer supply chain.
